Lead The Way underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hamstring injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. T. Whitford regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr. Whitford, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.

Majestic Jewel underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right quadricep and right chest muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. B. Pursell regarding Majestic Jewel’s racing manners approaching the finish post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Majestic Jewel was charged with marring. Mr. Pursell pleaded guilty to the charge and Majestic Jewel was suspended for 28 days at Sandown Park and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Addie Attitude – Late scratching at 10:15pm on the 25/06/2022 when Trainer, Ms. K. Leviston reported the greyhound to have soreness (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

Rare Sapphire underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the Trainer's request and was found to have a laceration to it's right foreleg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Victa Grosso failed to run past the return gate and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Tony Rasmussen regarding the behaviour of Victa Grosso in pulling up before the return gate and not entering the catching pen. The Stewards hold concerns that this poses an unnecessary safety issue for Victa Grosso, other greyhounds in the race, and staff that triage these types of incidents. After considering submissions from Tony Rasmussen, a warning was issued that further such instances of this nature may result in Victa Grosso being placed on a conditional satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 129.
