Slingshot Avril was quick to begin. Huey's Dream, Alfie Solomon and Hartland Gus were slow to begin.
Call Me Bluey faltered at the 100m mark, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right triangle, right pencil and left wrist. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
