Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Rohan Bale on 17 May 2022, pursuant to GAR 139.
A sample was taken from Aston Pablo upon arrival at the course.
Zarate was quick to begin. Aston Pablo was slow to begin.
Rohan Bale underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a sore pencil muscle and an abrasion to the left fore paw, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Kennel Representitve Mr Daniel Gibbons regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the turn off the back straight, on the second occasion. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Rohan Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Gibbons pleaded not guilty to the charge, Rohan Bale was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
