Steward's Report
Essential persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.
An out of competition sample was taken from Inga Meg on 12th August pursuant to GAR 79A.
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Starter, S. Courts did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Storm Raptor was slow to begin.
Inga Wally and Charlotte's Hand collided soon after the start. Inga Wally contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and collided with Storm Raptor severely checking Inga Wally and Storm Raptor. Hot Hand and Eynesbury Flyer collided on the first turn checking Eynesbury Flyer. Inga Meg crossed out on the first turn and collided with Charlotte's Hand. Got The Blues checked off Charlotte's Hand on the first turn. Inga Meg crossed to the outside on the home turn checking Charlotte's Hand. Charlotte's Hand and Aston Anza collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.
Inga Wally underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a cervico-thoracic injury, left deltoid injury and left shoulder injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
