Steward's Report
Mickey Blue Eyes and Cool And Deadly were slow to begin.
Blazin' Fury crossed in soon after the start checking Big Tango, No Jewels and Aston Gal. Mickey Blue Eyes, Aston Gal and Blazin' Fury collided approaching the 250m mark checking Blazin' Fury. Big Tango checked off Cool And Deadly at the 150m mark. Aston Gal crossed out approaching the 100m mark and collided with Cool And Deadly, checking Aston Gal. No Jewels and Blazin' Fury collided approaching the 50m mark checking Blazin' Fury.
Big Tango underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg dislocated toe. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr L. Mallia regarding the racing manners of Aston Gal approaching the 100m mark. After hearing evidence from Mr Mallia, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.
