All To Mac was quick to begin.
Between Jobs checked off Star Burner approaching the first turn. Akina Ivy and Dundee Candy collided approaching the first turn. Get On Geers turned its head out and marred Highway Man on the third turn.
Get On Beers underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr S Healey, the representative of Get On Beers, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the third turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Get On Beers was charged with marring. Mr Healey pleaded guilty to the charge, Get On Beers was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
