Darra Dawnie was quick to begin. Dewanna Degoey and Ready To Launch collided on the first turn severely checking Ready To Launch which stumbled and tailed off. Dewana Degoey, Zipping Rafferty and Evil Entry collided approaching the second turn checking Dewana Degoey. Berringa Blue and Zipping Rafferty collided on the second turn checking Berringa Blue. Evil Entry and Darra Dawnie collided approaching the home turn and on the home turn.
Ready To Launch underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
