A pre-race sample was taken from Left On Read.

Astrolithology, Hot Diesel and Hurricane Miami collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Miss Angel Di and Walk On Betty collided on the first turn checking Hot Diesel and Walk On Betty. Parumba Barty, Miss Angel Di and Left On Read collided approaching the home turn causing Walk On Betty to gallop on Miss Angel Di; Miss Angel Di was severely checked as a result.

Parumba Barty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right metatarsal fracture. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Miss Angel Di underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have concussion. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
