Sky And Thunder checked off Boom Buster approaching the first turn.  Leaping Lydia and Cool Kat collided approaching the first turn.  Midoriyama galloped on Sky And Thunder approaching the first turn checking Midoriyama and Dark Pearl and severely checking Sky And Thunder which fell.  Man Of Substance and Boom Buster collided on the first turn.  Man Of Substance and Leaping Lydia collided on the first turn.  

Sky And Thunder underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left elbow injury.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

She's So Kind and Grace's Spirit collided soon after the start.  Call Me Snooze and Grace's Spirit collided in the front straight.  Grace's Spirit and She's So Kind collided in the front straight checking She's So Kind.  Time For Peace checked off Call Me Snooze approaching the first turn.  Armstrong Bobby and Shanlyn Bear collided approaching the first turn.  Angel Glow and Armstrong Bobby collided on the first turn.  Grace's Spirit checked off Shanlyn Bear on the second turn checking Call Me Snooze.  She's So Kind checked off Grace's Spirit entering the back straight.  Call Me Snooze and Grace's Spirit collided on the third turn checking Grace's Spirit.  Grace's Spirit and Shanlyn Bear collided approaching the winning post.

Tiger's Twenty – Late scratching at 9.43am when trainer Mr K Ward reported the greyhound to have a leg injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Parabellum was quick to begin. Speedy Jack and Mr. Blurton were slow to begin.

Mahogany Jet checked off Select Hypo soon after the start.  Select Hypo checked off Mr. Blurton approaching the first turn.  Speedy Jack and Mahogany Jet collided on the first turn.  Mahogany Jet galloped on Mr. Blurton on the second turn.

Krakatoan, Bull's Roar and Kalbarri were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking Krakatoan and Bull's Roar.  Bull's Roar and Kalbarri collided approaching the first turn.  Bull's Roar and Shy But Savage collided on the first turn.  Call Me Harvey and Aston Ajok collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Lightnin' Slim marred Notoriety on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Bull's Roar and Shy But Savage collided entering the back straight.  Call Me Harvey and Aston Ajok collided approaching the third turn.  Call Me Harvey, Aston Ajok, Shy But Savage and Bull's Roar collided on the third turn checking Call Me Harvey and Bull's Roar. 

Lightnin' Slim's Representative Mr. Darren Pattinson declined to have the greyhound vetted.  Stewards spoke to Mr. Pattinson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Lightnin' Slim was charged with marring.  Mr. Pattinson pleaded guilty to the charge, Lightnin' Slim was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. Brett Mackie regarding the racing manners of Bull's Roar on the first turn.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Mackie, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.

Malicious Yaala was quick to begin.  Yussuf Bale and Henryk Bale were slow to begin.

Sleek Mistress and Jet Age collided soon after the start.  Skibo Boy checked off Sleek Mistress approaching the first turn.  Sleek Mistress and Jet Age collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Jet Age.  Sleek Mistress marred Cayden Bale approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds.  

Sleek Mistress underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Miss. Kathleen Newport regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the second turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Sleek Mistress was charged with marring. Miss Newport pleaded guilty to the charge, Sleek Mistress was found guilty and suspended for 28 days Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Between Jobs was slow to begin.

Safe Drop and Spirit Energy collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Resurrection and American Spy collided on the first turn checking American Spy.  

A post-race sample was taken from Ask For More - winner of the event.

Yenderra Evie, Fenway Lights and Room To Boom collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Strategic and Emergency collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Room To Boom, Code Blue Sue, Strategic and Emergency collided in the front straight checking all four greyhounds.  Mighty Marshall and Yenderra Evie collided approaching the first turn.  Strategic raced wide on the first turn.  Fenway Lights checked off Yenderra Evie approaching the second turn.
