Steward's Report
All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.
Aston Anza was quick to begin. Oldina Patsy was slow to begin.
Dr. Grady and Zippy Customer collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Aston Anza crossed in on the first turn causing Aston Hebe to check off Aston Anza checking Aston Anza and Dr. Grady, severely checking Aston Hebe and Zippy Customer, both greyhounds fell as a result. Aston Artemis checked off Celtic Gypsy approaching the home turn. Oldina Patsy galloped on Aston Anza in the home straight.
Aston Hebe underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Zippy Customer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury and an abrasion to the nose and left metacarpal. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
