Steward's Report
All persons attending the venue today carried facemasks, observed social distance requirements and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.
An out of competition sample was taken from Aston Percival on 3/3/2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Spanish Bullion was slow to begin.
Bella Salice, Aston Percival and Tactical Storm collided soon after the start. Tactical Storm crossed out at the 200m mark and collided with Jeza You Beauty. Tactical Storm crossed in at the 150m mark. Viking Junior faltered at the 50m mark and lost considerable ground.
Viking Junior underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right calf injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Tactical Storm underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right back muscle and the right calf. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mrs Pauline Laidley regarding the racing manners of Tactical Storm at the 200m mark. After hearing evidence from Mrs Laidley, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at the 200m mark.
