All persons (GRV & club staff, licensed participants & limited general public) attending the venue today undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Dr Wade was quick to begin.  Go Rogue and Dr. Wade collided approaching the first turn.  Al’s Brother, Flying Hercules and Stockbroker collided approaching the first turn.  Stockbroker galloped on Kiwalik approaching the first turn checking Flying Hercules, Al’s Brother and Stockbroker and severely checking Kiwalik which was subsequently tailed off.  Dr. Francisco was checked off Mustang Molly approaching the home turn.  Dr. Francisco and  Dr. Wade collided approaching the winning post.

Kiwalik underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right shoulder muscle.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Prince Nangana was checked off Shango Run soon after the start checking Head On Bonnie and Prince Nangana.  Shango Run and Self Belief collided approaching the first turn checking Head On Bonnie.  Self Belief galloped on Esfahan approaching the first turn severely checking Self Belief. Self Belief and Shango Run collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Shango Run galloped on Self Belief approaching the home turn.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Dr. Santiago with Ms. J. Gill and noted their comments.

Crackerjack Dirt was quick to begin.  Empire Lad and Supercomputer collided soon after the start. Yussuf Bale and Ride Along collided soon after the start checking Yussuf Bale.  Supercomputer and Dr. Santiago collided approaching the first turn. Connor Man, Armstrong Bobby and Dr. Santiago collided on the first turn checking Supercomputer and severely checking Dr. Santiago. Armstrong Bobby, Empire Lad and Supercomputer collided approaching the home turn. Armstrong Bobby was checked off Yussuf Bale entering the home straight. 

Dr. Santiago underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Agent Swan and Flossy Jo were slow to begin.  Crackerjack Ads and Rock The Sky collided soon after the start.  Bindi Girl and Geena Bale collided soon after the start checking Geena Bale.  Rock The Sky and Agent Swan collided approaching the first turn. Agent Swan galloped on Rock The Sky on the first turn. Montaro and Black Hog Ride collided on the first turn.  Rock The Sky, Agent Swan and Geena Bale collided on the first turn checking Agent Swan and severely checking Geena Bale. Montaro visibly eased and turned its head in approaching the home turn.   Rock The Sky, Bindi Girl, Crackerjack Ads and Montaro collided on the home turn.  Rock The Sky was checked off Flossy Jo in the home straight.  Montaro visibly eased and turned its head in approaching the winning post.

Montaro underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Meade the trainer of Montaro regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn and approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A (1) Montaro was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Meade pleaded guilty to the charge, Montaro was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Bomber’s Wonder was quick to begin.  Bidgee Boy, Crackerjack Suni, Dr. Lynch and Dr. Xander collided on the first turn checking Dr. Xander.  Bidgee Boy and Crackerjack Suni collided approaching the home turn checking Dr. Xander.  Dr. Xander, Bidgee Boy and  Crackerjack Suni collided on the home turn.  Bidgee Boy was checked off Scorching Sun on the home turn and collided with Crackerjack Suni and Dr. Xander, severely checking Bidgee Boy, Crackerjack Suni and Dr. Xander.

Dr. Xander underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left front toe.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Oscar The Scout was slow to begin.  Disco Riot and Minter Blaze collided soon after the start.  Disco Riot and Minter Blaze collided approaching the first turn.  Oscar The Scout, Whistling Bullet and Minter Blaze collided on the first turn checking Oscar The Scout and Disco Riot.  Oscar The Scout and Disco Riot collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Aston Clurey and Citadel Of Chaos collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  Minter Blaze was checked off Citadel Of Chaos on the home turn.

Block Star, Dr. Madison and Parumba Rebel collided approaching the first turn severely checking Parumba Rebel.  Dr. Madison and Ripplebrook Glen collided on the first turn.  Ripplebrook Glen and Jet Lee Rose collided on the home turn.

Parumba Rebel underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right monkey muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Parabellum and Sticker Stinger collided soon after the start.  Just Burning galloped on Persian Goddess soon after the start checking Fraser Hook.  Father Phevos and Zipping Sense collided approaching the first turn checking Father Phevos.  Just Burning and Father Phevos collided on the first turn.  Sticker Stinger galloped on Parabellum on the first turn checking Parabellum and Father Phevos.  Leo Rose and Zipping Sense collided on the home turn checking Zipping Sense.

Fraser Hook underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the tongue.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Colonel Diesel was quick to begin.  Dr. Perry galloped on Prize Diamond approaching the first turn. Dr. Perry and Magic Voyage collided on the first turn checking Dr. Perry.  Prize Diamond and Bomber’s Smokey collided on the first turn.  Prize Diamond and Magic Voyage collided on the first turn checking Magic Voyage.

Yazid Bale was quick to begin.  Reinforced, Barwidgi and Akina Ivy collided soon after the start.  Reinforced visibly eased on the first turn. Reinforced and Akina Ivy collided on the home turn.  

Reinforced underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the right front leg.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Ms. L. Smith the trainer of Reinforced regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1) Reinforced was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms. Smith pleaded not guilty to the charge, Reinforced was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
