The first split was hand timed for this race due to a technical malfunction.
Sisco Ride was quick to begin.
Sisco Ride faltered approaching the first turn. Zipping Hamish, Rall's Girl and Overflow Lisa collided on the first turn. Overflow Lisa, Sunset Milo, Rall's Girl and Curfew collided in the back straight. High Plain tired in the home straight.
