Steward's Report
Mr Mathew Tabb failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Magic Marjen for racing. A fine of $100 was issued pursuant to GAR 46(2).
In accordance with LR 22 Trainer Mr Paul Galea was issued with a warning regarding the non-compliance with the GRV Dress Code.
Pretty Mouse and To The Riots was slow to begin. Handsome Rhino, Fast And Flying and Koblenz collided approaching the first turn. Explosive Yaala and Magic Marjen collided on the first turn checking Eplosive Yaala which collided with To The Riots. Handsome Rhino and Koblenz collided on the first trun. Handsome Rhino galloped on the heels of Koblenz approaching the home turn checking Handsome Rhino which stumbled and collided with Fast And Flying causing Fast And Flying to fall, severely checking Pretty Mouse. To The Riots and Koblenz collided on the home turn.
Fast And Flying underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hamstring injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
