All staff & participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

The Stewards were advised that the track was medium harrowed on Thursday 14th January 2021.

Supercomputer – New declared weight of 26.6kg, last raced at 28.0kg.

Nero Valentino and Dundee Topaz were slow to begin.

Supercomputer and Nero Valentino collided soon after the start.  Nero Valentino checked off Shrek's Ninja soon after the start.  Nero Valentino and Ask For More collided soon after the start.  Supercomputer and Ask For More collided approaching the first turn and collided with Blazin' Zen, Dundee Topaz and Nero Valentino; Blazin' Zen and Dundee Topaz raced wide as a result.  Nero Valentino visibly eased entering the back straight.  Blazin' Zen and Dundee Topaz collided entering the back straight.  Nero Valentino visibly eased on the third turn and collided with Supercomputer and Dundee Topaz.  Ask For More checked off Shrek's Ninja in the home straight.  

Nero Valentino underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. A re-examination was declined.

Stewards spoke to Mr James, the trainer of Nero Valentino regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the back straight and again on the third turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Nero Valentino was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr James pleaded guilty to the charge, Nero Valentino was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne track only and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Rajah was quick to begin.

Legend Jet and Chasing Love collided soon after the start.  Dundee Zircon and Sleek Mistress collided soon after the start.  Chasing Love galloped on the heels of Rajah on the first turn severely checking Chasing Love.  Rajah checked off Dundee Zircon on the home turn.  Phil's My Bro and Sleek Mistress collided several times in the home straight to approaching the winning post.  

Camaro Zed was slow to begin.

All Inn Freeman and Chasing Teddy collided soon after the start checking Chasing Teddy.  Camaro Zed galloped on the heels of Black Eyed Heart on the first turn severely checking Black Eyed Heart.  All Inn Freeman and Walk On Betty collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  All Inn Freeman and Saturation collided approaching the winning post.

Hook Along Pippa and Arcanine collided soon after the start and again on the first turn checking Hook Along Pippa.  Arcanine and Spanish Miss collided on the first turn.  All To Mac raced wide in the back straight.  Dewana Lynda checked off Arcanine in the home straight.  

Aston Profit, So Joe Mac and Saw Blaze were quick to begin.

Hard At It and See Me Willow collide approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Horace Bale and Hard At It collided on the first turn checking Horace Bale and Draconic Lad; severely checking Hard At It and See Me Willow.  So Joe Mac and Saw Blaze collided on the home turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Draconic Lad and Horace Bale collided on the home turn checking Draconic Lad.

Midnight Breeze and Zoe's Intention collided several times from soon after the start to the first turn.  Over Talking checked off Zoe's Intention soon after the start.  Over Talking and Ebonique collided approaching the first turn.  Little Nellie, Midnight breeze and Zoe's Intention collided on the first turn.  Little Nellie and Midnight breeze collided on the home turn.  

Zoe's Intention underwent a post-race veterinary examination after an incident in the catching pen - no apparent injury was reported. 

Why Not Gazza was slow to begin.

Mighty Tracey and Miss Demonica collided soon after the start.  Why Not Hutch and Kinlock Journey collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Let's Roll and Why Not Gazza collided on the first turn.

Milly's Last and Diva Dot collided soon after the start.  Chasing The Edge checked off Carnivore soon after the start.  Chasing The Edge contacted the running rail approaching the first turn.

Chasing The Edge underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Aston Phoenix crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Chasing Chops and Sevilla collided soon after the start.  Sevilla crossed to the inside in the back straight.  All Inn Toffee checked off Sevilla approaching the first turn.  

Jordy's Express and Zambora Tara were slow to begin.

Jordy's Express and Zambora Tara collided soon after the start.  Cayden Bale and Marley's Rage collided approaching the first turn.  Zothan's Magic checked off Star Gem on the first turn; causing Zothan's Magic to race wide.  Cayden Bale and Marley's Rage collided on the first turn checking Parumba Barty and Cayden Bale; severely checking Marley's Rage.  Jordy's Express and Zambora Tara collided approaching the home turn.
