All Staff & Participants attending the race-meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the Kennel Block and Associated Buildings and when engaged in the exclusive race-day functions of handling, boxing, starting & catching greyhounds. 

The initial start of this event was declared to be a false start after the boxes failed to open. All greyhounds were removed from the boxes, vetted, and passed fit to race.

Urana Vieri was quick to begin. Pacific Bar and Carnivore collided soon after the start. Mt. View Peal contacted the running rail several times on the first turn. Crystal Edition checked off Pacific Bar approaching the home turn. Zoom Fly Three checked off Crystal Edition on the home turn. Zoom Fly Three and Crystal Edition collided in the home straight. 

Mt. View Pearl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left shoulder and left triangle muscles. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Miss Olivia Cartechini (Starter) and Mr Wayne Harmor (Lure Driver) regarding the false start for this event, Stewards were advised that the green light had not been activated to signal the start of the event resulting in the boxes failing to open as the lure passed the boxes. Mr Harmor stated that he had responded to the Starter's hand gestures to signal him the start the race. Miss Cartechini and Mr Harmor have been referred to their respective managers for follow up.  

Riverhawk – New declared weight of 29.7kg, last raced at 31.3kg.

The start of this event was resceduled to 3.30pm. 

Milly's Last and Amy's Alone were quick to begin. Amy's Alone turned its head outwards and visibly eased on the home turn, colliding with Milly's Last as a result. Milly's Last and Amy's Alone collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds. Mt. View Ginger checked off Mt. View Burner approaching the winning post. 

Amy's Alone underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-vetted following race 4 and was found to have injuries to the left monkey muscle and right triangle muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Ian Dann regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Amy's Alone was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Dann pleaded guilty to the charge; Amy's Alone was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Jet Burner; a post-race sample was subsequently taken. 

Mt. View Moon and Honey's Destiny were slow to begin. Jet Burner, Boes Bambino and Aqua Vite collided on the first turn checking Jet Burner, Mt. View Moon and Honey's Destiny. Honey's Destiny and Jet Burner collided in the home straight. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Galloping Occy. 

Diamond Ted and Rip Off Roslyn were slow to begin. Run To You and Captian Chappy collided soon after the start. Go The Doves checked off Captain Chappy on the first turn. Diamond Ted checked off Run To You on the first turn. Galloping Occy checked off Run To You on the first turn. Galloping Occy galloped on Diamond Ted entering the home straight. Captain Chappy and Go The Doves collided approaching the winning post. 

Diamond Ted underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right hock, left monkey muscle and right deltoid muscle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mrs Lisa Hellmuth regarding the greyhounds performance in the event. After hearing evidence from Mrs Hellmuth and considering the injuries sustained to the greyhound, Stewards took no further action.

Midnight Storm – New declared weight of 29.3kg, last raced at 28.1kg.

Midnight Storm and Mountain Goat were quick to begin. Why Not Pockets and Courtney Lee collided soon after the start. Maximum Trina and Why Not Pockets collided on the first turn checking Maximum Trina. Courtney Lee and More Wit collided approaching the home turn. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Ginger Meggs.

Ginger Meggs was quick to begin. Alfie Mikado and Any Luck collided soon after the start. Alfie Mikado and Our Ryker collided on the first turn. Alfie Mikado galloped on Our Ryker on the home turn. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Why Not Rose. 

Instinctual and Why Not Kez collided soon after the start. Lamotta and Big Bella collided on the first turn. Big Bella galloped on Why Not Kez on the first turn severely checking Big Bella. Violation checked off Big Bella on the home turn. 

Cute Patootie was quick to begin. Romeo Lad was slow to begin. Cute Patootie and Rose Mikado collided on the first turn. Lethal Hawk and Romeo Lad collided on the first turn, causing Romeo Lad to race wide. Lethal Hawk and Flojo Mikado collided in the back straight. Lethal Hawk and Romeo Lad collided on the home turn. 

A post-race sample was taken from Rebel May Road - the winner of the event. 

Marley's Rage and Zambora Tara were slow to begin. Parumba Barty checked off September Dream soon after the start. Bindi Girl and Tinker China collided on the first turn. Bindi Girl checked off Coco Chum on the first turn. Zambora Tara and Marley's Rage collided on the first turn. Parumba Barty and Zambora Tara collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Bindi Girl and Marley's Rage collided on the home turn. Marley's Rage and Tinker China collided on the home turn checking Marley's Rage.

Free Kick Hawks was quick to begin. Draconic Lad was slow to begin. Zumi's Swagger checked off Tommy's Blazer on the first turn checking Witchie's Gas. Draconic Lad galloped on Witchie's Gas on the first turn checking Zumi's Swagger and severely checking Witchie's Gas. Draconic Lad and Zumi's Swagger collided on the home turn. Free Kick Hawks and Aston Shiloh collided in the home straight.

A post-race sample was taken from Mayhem Lass - the winner of the event.
