All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

Chillout Cookie - Late scratching at 7.45am when Trainer Mrs J. Chilcott reported the greyhound to have lameness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Gonzaga and Wild Aces Agogo were slow to begin.

Heart Of Gold, Shim Cam, Bear's Dream and Villanova collided soon after the start checking all four greyhounds. Gonzaga and Wild Aces Agogo collided approaching the first turn. Heart Of Gold, Bear's Dream and Villanova collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Heart Of Gold and Bear's Dream collided on the first turn checking Heart Of Gold, Shim Cam, Villanova, Gonzaga and Wild Aces Agogo. Villanova and Shim Cam collided on the second turn checking Villanova. Wild Aces Agogo and Shim Cam collided on the third turn. Shim Cam and Wild Aces Agogo collided entering the home straight.

Showtime Boomer - Representative Ms B Johannsen was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound (GAR 33).

Dr. Macie and Barwidgi collided soon after the start checking Dr. Macie. Showtime Boomer, Barwidgi and Dr. Francisco collided on the third turn. Dr. Danika checked off Dr. Francisco on the third turn. Dr. Macie and Dr. Danika collided approaching the home turn checking Dr. Danika.

No Regrets was quick to begin. Little Trucker and Ask For More were slow to begin.

Cayden Bale and Ask For More collided soon after the start. Ask For More, Cayden Bale and She's Something collided on the first turn checking She's Something. French Beauty, Rockin' Rosie and No Regrets collided on the first turn checking Rockin' Rosie. She's Something checked off Cayden Bale in the front straight. French Beauty and Rockin' Rosie collided approaching the second turn. Little Trucker checked off Rockin' Rosie approaching the third turn. Mac's A Million raced wide throughout.

Brute was slow to begin.

Brute and Mahogany Storm collided on the first turn. Well Grounded checked off Russian Sub on the third turn. Well Grounded and King Gristle collided in the home straight.

Artic Assassin and Georgia Kate collided soon after the start. Artic Assassin, Georgia Kate and Strada collided on the first turn checking Chicken Schnitty, Artic Assassin, Georgia Kate and Strada. Lochinvar Rubble and Inga Ollie collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Chicken Schnitty and Lochinvar Rubble collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

Stewards delayed the 'All Clear' to this event to review vision of prior to the start. It was established that the green light was incorrectly activated instead of the amber light to indicate greyhounds moving into the boxes. As a result of the green light being activated the lure moved a short distance before being stopped. As the lure had stopped before the greyhounds had commenced the loading process Stewards were satisfied that no greyhounds were affected and as such declared 'All Clear'. The matter was referred to Club management.

Argyle Bella was slow to begin.

Elanda Bale, Zipping Coby and Up The Amount collided soon after the start. Elanda Bale, Zipping Coby and Argyle Bella collided on the first turn. Elanda Bale and Argyle Bella collided on the third turn. Minter Explode checked off Zipping Coby entering the home straight. Up The Amount marred Adesanya entering the home straight.

Up The Amount underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left monkey muscle and right triangle muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mrs J. Chilcott regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Up The Amount was charged with marring. Mrs Chilcott pleaded guilty to the charge, Up The Amount was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
