All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated building and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

Elegant Jewel was slow to begin.

Tsar Bell and Zander collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Tsar Bell, Sarah Beauty and Taylor's Chip.  Taylor's Chip contacted the running rail approaching the home turn.

Taylor's Chip underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Our Frankie was slow to begin.  In Trinity and Mayhem Moment were slow to begin. 

Lady Swiss and Blazing Pop collided on the first turn. 

Trainer Mrs. Dianne Ireland formally applied to Stewards to withdraw Spanish Miss after mistakenly nominating the greyhound for this race after racing on 18 January 2021. In accepting the application to withdraw, the Stewards issued a charge to Mrs. Ireland under GAR 86 (o) for mistakenly nominating Spanish Miss for this race, which was considered by the Stewards to be negligent. Mrs. Ireland acknowledged the offence and after considering the circumstance surrounding the commission of the offence, a fine of $200 was issued with half suspended for 12 months pending no further similar nomination related issues in that period of time.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade Steward, Miss Olivia Cartechini did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

Blazin' Lola and Ultimate Mayhem collided approaching the first turn.  Big Bash Jess and Hickory Pandora collided on the first turn severely checking Hickory Pandora, checking Alkonost.  Big Bash Jess checked off Write About Her approaching the home turn.  

Stareena, Galloping Speed and Cool And Deadly were slow to begin.

Cool And Deadly and Serengeti Icon collided on the first turn and again on the second turn.  Madalia Daisy and Riccarton Matt collided approaching the third turn.  Galloping Speed, Riccarton Matt and Stareena collided on the third turn.

Romeo Lad was slow to begin.

Bricabrac and Zipping Whoopi collided soon after the start.  Teardrop and Bricabrac collided approaching the first turn.  Zipping Whoopi and Patches Colour collided approaching the first turn.  Star Ballerina and Teardrop collided on the first turn checking Star Ballerina.  Patches Colour and Zipping Whoopi collided approaching the home turn.  Patches Colour and Rebel May Road collided in the home straight.

Why Not Bazzar underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left medial calf.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Coco Chum underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left thigh injury and an abrasion to the left and right hocks.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Shanlyn Cripps underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left scapula fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
