Why Not Kez was quick to begin.
All To Lucky and Jump The Bar collided approaching the first turn. Take A Daisy and Spolly James collided approaching the first turn checking Spolly James. Jump The Bar crossed to the outside on the first turn and galloped on Take A Daisy, checking All To Lucky and Spolly James, severely checking Jump The Bar and Take A Daisy; Take A Daisy fell as a result. All To Lucky checked off Spolly James entering the home straight.
Take A Daisy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left deltoid muscle and the left groin. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
