Warm Beer was quick to begin.
Another Avatar and Mountain Goat collided approaching the first turn. Red Hot Chance checked off Aston Rose approaching the first turn. Big Bella checked off Aston Rose on the first turn. Another Avatar and Red Hot Chance collided on the first turn checking Red Hot Chance, Another Avatar and Mountain Goat. Warm Beer faltered on the home turn.
Warm Beer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock injury. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the home turn and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.
