Steward's Report
Shaun John was quick to begin.
Courtney Lee and Boes Reward collided approaching the first turn. Boes Reward galloped on Courtney Lee on the first turn checking Courtney Lee and Spolly Bear, severely checking Boes reward which fell as a result.
Boes Reward underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound, injuries to the thoraco lumbar and the left deltoid muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards noted that the lure was pulled up in the catching pen to avoid Boes Reward the fallen greyhound.
