Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Lure Driver, Mr C. Chilcott did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Kingfisher Rose and My Father's Son were slow to begin. Lilly Lana and Kingfisher Rose collided on the first turn checking Kingfisher Rose. Debbie's Destiny and My Father's Son collided in the front straight. Run Like Jess brushed the running rail on the second turn. Debbie's Destiny and My Father's Son collided on the second turn. Tekki Nibbles and Kingfisher Rose collided on the home turn checking Tekki Nibbles. Run Like Jess faltered and lost ground approaching the winning post.
Run Like Jess was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left shin and left monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Palmer regarding Run Like Jess's actions in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr. Palmer, the on track veternarian regarding the injury sustained, and all available footage stewards took no further action.
A post race sample was taken from Lee Ali winner of the event.
