Steward's Report
Daph's Zac and Carry On Liam were slow to begin. Ernie Prang and Uncle's Girl collided soon after the start checking Ernie Prang. Carry On Liam checked off Lawson Drive approaching the first turn. Carry On Liam and Lawson Drive collided on the first turn. Ernie Prang and Daph's Zac collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn. Ernie Prang checked off Daph's Zac entering the back straight. Ernie Prang and Carry On Liam collided in the back straight checking Ernie Prang. Kiss Your Lips tired and lost ground from approaching the home turn.
Kiss Your Lips was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 4. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left calf injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr L. Sharp, Representative for Kiss Your Lips. Acting under GAR20(3)(v) a veterinary certificate has been ordered by Stewards before any further nominations are accepted for the greyhound.
A post race sample was taken from Uncle's Girl, the winner of the event.
