Steward's Report
Financial Tarra and Lump Sum were slow to begin. Financial Tarra was checked off Aston Kipchoge on the first turn. Financial Tarra and Lump Sum collided on the second turn checking Financial Tarra. Financial Tarra clipped the heels of Lump Sum approaching the winning post.
Financial Tarra underwent a post race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr. L. Fulford regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the second turn. After hearing evidence from Mr. Fulford, viewing all available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the second turn.
A post- race sample was taken from Manila Knight - the winner of the event.
