The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday 10 November 2020. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times. 

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Itchy Kaala was slow to begin.

Celtic Gypsy and Double Zero collided from approaching the 300m mark to the 250m mark checking both greyhounds. Celtic Gypsy and No Jewels collided approaching the 200m mark checking both greyhounds. Double Zero galloped on No Jewels at the 200m mark checking both greyhounds.

A post-race sample was taken from Kuta Cowboy - the winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Hartland Gus.

Uncatchable Girl was slow to begin.

Uncatchable Girl and Urana Vieri collided approaching the 250m mark. Uncatchable Girl and Urana Vieri collided several times from the 200m mark to the winning post checking both greyhounds. Hartland Gus and Dottrell collided at the 200m mark.

Too Far crossed out approaching the 200m mark.

Tinker Chuck was slow to begin.

Too Much Talking and Springvale Misty collided soon after the start. Motor Ace crossed to the rail approaching the 250m mark. Boes Reward and Early Special collided at the 200m mark and again at the 100m mark.

Boes High Five was slow to begin.

Tibetan crossed in soon after the start checking Crowdza Rocking and Raquea's Dream. Nunniong Bear, Lainey Zapper and Smoking Syd collided soon after the start checking Lainey Zapper. Boes High Five, Zero and Tibetan collided at the 300m mark checking Zero and Tibetan; Boes High Five, crossed to the outside as a result. Nunniong Bear, Smoking Syd and Raquea's Dream collided approaching the 250m mark. Nunniong Bear and Smoking Syd collided several times from the 300m mark to the 250m mark causing Nunniong Bear to fall.

Nunniong Bear underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind foot and bruising to the right shoulder. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Coyote Ugly.

Stride For Pride and Coyote Ugly collided soon after the start. What A Kicker crossed to the outside approaching the 250m mark and collided with Coyote Ugly and Phoebe's Angel. What A Kicker Marred Phoebe's Angel approaching the 150m mark checking Phoebe's Angel and Coyote Ugly. What A Kicker turned its head towards the inside and visibly eased at the 150m mark. What A Kicker marred Phoebe's Angel at the 100m mark and again several times from the 50m mark to the winning post checking Phoebe's Angel.

What A Kicker underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have and injury to the right triangle muscle and a laceration to the right hind foot. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Tony Tufo, the trainer of What A Kicker regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the 150m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) What A Kicker was charged with marring. Mr Tufo pleaded guilty, to the charge, What A Kicker was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Right Above It was slow to begin.

Back Ya Self and Tui collided approaching the 100m mark checking Tui. Back Ya Self checked off Westside Guru approaching the 50m mark.

Remember Jimmy and Loud And Rowdy collided several times from soon after the start to the 250m mark checking both greyhounds. Courtney Lee crossed to the outside at the 250m mark and checked off Shady Talks. Remember Jimmy raced wide from the 250m mark to the winning post.
