Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance withGAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to andcontinue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 &6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Crackerjack Lach and Atlantic Lady collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds, as a result Cullquin Vincent was checked and raced wide.

Aston Leomie - Late scratching at 13:48 due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Petra Bale and Distant Sun collided on the first turn checking Distant Sun. Montanaro and Chase Man collided on the first turn checking Chase Man. Montanaro checked off La Senorita Roja collided on the home turn. Distant Sun checked off Chase Man on the home turn.

Dewana Step was slow to begin.

Chattering Teeth and Dorellie Love went up with the lids at box rise and were slow to begin. Fully Roasted checked off Follow The Que on the first turn. Dorellie Love, Wicked Show and Dewana Step collided approaching the second turn checking Dorellie Love and Wicked Show.

Chattering Teeth underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Permit Granted with trainer Mr. Paul Hammerstein and noted his comments.

Dirty Max, Secret Chimp and Queue The Music collided soon after the start. Crackerjack Tys and Harley Merrett collided on the first turn checking Harley Merrett. Once A King and Queue The Music collided on the home turn. Not All Over and Once A King collided on the home turn. Not All Over and Secret Chimp collided entering the home straight.
