Steward's Report
Uniquely Mine, Dewana Chic, McIvor Stretch and Saffron Gold collided on the first turn checking McIvor Stretch and Saffron Gold and severely checking Dewana Chic which fell as a result. McIvor Stretch raced wide in the home straight. Teaks Streak visibly eased approaching the winning post.
Dewana Chic underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abraded stopper pad. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Teaks Streak underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left triangle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. A. Rademaker, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Teaks Streak was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Rademaker pleaded guilty to the charge, Teaks Streak must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
