5. Run Like Jess - 2nd. Quick to begin. Eased second turn and again approaching the winning post. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Robert Palmer, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the second turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Run Like Jess was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Palmer pleaded guilty to the charge, Run Like Jess must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ms A. Langton & Mr J. Shaw failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Weblec Haze and Mepunga Felix for racing. Ms Langton and Mr Shaw were both fined $100 pursuant to GAR 46 (2)
