Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID–19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4–wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks/covers that in–turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race–day functions and operations.

Princess Sparkle was quick to begin.

Aston Vuitton and Black Tess collided soon after the start checking Black Tess. Limburg Patrick checked off Hasta Manana approaching the first turn checking Limburg Patrick. Zoe's Intention - Late scratching at 2:16pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to swelling to the right front toe. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Patchie Two Dots was slow to begin.

Riverdale Bear checked off Calabrese Gino soon after the start severely checking Riverdale Bear. Run Shifty Run checked off Patchie Two Dots approaching the first turn. Patchie Two Dots and Magic Panther collided on the first turn. Magic Panther and Calabrese Gino collided approaching the winning post.

Xella Bale was quick to begin. Flying Zara was slow to begin.

Blackpool Alfie checked off Fernando's Flare approaching the first turn. Blackpool Alfie and Fernando's Flare collided on the first turn severely checking Fernando's Flare, Elope To Paris and Run From Reality forcing Fernando's Flare, Elope To Paris and Run From Reality to run wide. Flying Zara checked off Begonia Bale entering the home straight. 

Elope To Paris underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Run From Reality underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Fernando's Flare underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.

Dybala and Major Bourbski collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Graphic Print checked off Low Planes on the first turn. Major Bourbski checked off Dybala approaching the home turn.

Bright Blue and Limburg Special were quick to begin. Orange Justice was slow to begin.

Magic Indeed and Orange Justice collided soon after the start. Bright Blue checked off Limburg Special approaching the first turn. Magic Indeed checked off Bright Blue approaching the first turn. Limburg Special and Will's Bella collided on the first turn. Bright Blue and Magic Indeed collided approaching the home turn. Carry On Star – In accordance with GAR 73, presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling as the greyhound was found to be injured at Sandown on 18th of October. Carry On Star was examined by the on-track veterinarian and found to be free from injury. Carry On Star was Cleared to race. 

Belle Curve jumped awkwardly at box rise and crossed to the rail soon after the start. Wishly Bale, Blazing Lizzie and Vegas Rules collided soon after the start. Skating Queen checked off Firefly Star approaching the first turn. Wishly Bale, Blazing Lizzie and Vegas Rules collided on the first turn. Skating Queen and Firefly Star collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Wishly Bale and Vegas Rules collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. 

Satisfactory Trials:

Thursday Knight underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to trial. Thursday Knight was examined post trial and no abnormality was detected.
