Why Not Gigi was quick to begin. Hard At It was slow to begin. Split Pea and Kai Valley Rocks collided approaching the first turn checking Split Pea. Split Pea and Zipping Kay collided on the first turn. Draconic Lad and Jindivick collided on the first turn. Hard At It and Jindivick collided approaching the home turn.
Kai Valley Rocks underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
