Steward's Report
So Say, Inter Santina and Castle Sween collided soon after the start. Boes Reward and Snap Decision collided at the 250m mark. Castle Sween and Cee Me Snoop collided approaching the 200m mark. So Say and Inter Santina collided at the 200m mark, checking Inter Santina. Snap Decision turned its head outwards at the 100m mark and collided with So Say. So Say and Castle Sween collided at the 100m mark. Snap Decision and Inter Cantina collided approaching the winning post.
Ms T.Pallpratt failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Inter Santina for racing. Ms Pallpratt was issued with a warning pursuant to GAR 46 (2).
Snap Decision was underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left sesamoid injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr T.Whitford, the trainer of Snap Decision regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the 100m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Snap Decision was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Whitford pleaded not guilty to the charge, Snap Decision is suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
