Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade Steward, Mr B. Van de Maat did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event. Mr P. Maher acted as Parade Steward for this event.
Viral and Far Out Frankie were slow to begin.
Assume Kealy, Princess Giggles and Still Got Time collided soon after the start. Viral and Princess Giggles collided approaching the 300m mark. Wild Keyra crossed to the inside at the 300m mark checking Far Out Frankie and Still Got Time. Assume Kealy, Wild Keyra, Far Out Frankie, Let's Send It and Still Got Time collided approaching the 250m mark. Wild Keyra faltered at the 150m mark and lost ground. Let's Send It and Assume Kealy collided at the 150m mark and again at the 100m mark.
Wild Keyra underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Aston Latham - the winner of the event.
