All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing, starting, and catching greyhounds.

Flame Child and Unique Faith collided soon after the start.  Blazin' Cool crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Flamin' Sam; Blazin' Cool continued to race wide for the remainder of the event.  White Nikita checked off Satanic Mikado approaching the 250m mark.  Flame Child and Unique Faith collided approaching the 250m mark.  Satanic Mikado, Flame Child and Unique Faith collided at the 250m mark.  Unique Faith checked off Satanic Mikado at the 200m mark checking Flame Child.  Unique Faith checked off White Nikita at the 100m mark.  Flame Child and Unique Faith collided at the 150m mark checking both greyhounds.  Flame Child checked off Unique Faith approaching the 100m mark.

Tidy Up Girl was slow to begin.

Major Bandit and Aussie Legend collided soon after the start.  Ben Major and Abscess collided soon after the start.  Evanlee and Separatist collided approaching the 300m mark.  Aussie Legend checked off Major Bandit at the 300m mark.  Abscess checked off Evanlee at the 250m mark.  Ben Major and Aussie Legend collided at the 250m mark.  Aussie Legend crossed to the inside at the 150m mark severely checking Ben Major, Evanlee, Car Dealer and Abscess.

Knuckle Buster and Sole Elusion were slow to begin.

In My Pocket and Perfect Goddess collided soon after the start.  Soda Pee Wee and Perfect Goddess collided several times at the 250m mark.  In My Pocket and Perfect Goddess collided several times from the 200m mark to approaching the 50m mark.  Aston Hadley faltered at the 100m mark and lost ground.  In My Pocket, Perfect Goddess and Sonic Sensation collided at the 50m mark.  In My Pocket checked off Sonic Sensation approaching the winning post checking Soda Pee Wee.

Aston Hadley underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade Steward, Mr B. Van de Maat did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.  Mr P. Maher acted as Parade Steward for this event.

Viral and Far Out Frankie were slow to begin.

Assume Kealy, Princess Giggles and Still Got Time collided soon after the start.  Viral and Princess Giggles collided approaching the 300m mark.  Wild Keyra crossed to the inside at the 300m mark checking Far Out Frankie and Still Got Time.  Assume Kealy, Wild Keyra, Far Out Frankie, Let's Send It and Still Got Time collided approaching the 250m mark.  Wild Keyra faltered at the 150m mark and lost ground.  Let's Send It and Assume Kealy collided at the 150m mark and again at the 100m mark.

Wild Keyra underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Scaramouche was slow to begin.

Secret Package and Kid Malawi collided soon after the start.  Jax Flash checked off Always Primed soon after the start.  Nitro Roxy and Anubis Al collided at the 300m mark.  Nitro Roxy, Scaramouche, Anubis Al and Secret Package collided at the 250m mark.  Nitro Roxy checked off Scaramouche at the 100m mark.  Scaramouche and Nitro Roxy collided approaching the winning post.

Riccarton Weaver was slow to begin.

Just The Marjen and Eagle Jet collided soon after the start.  Walk Me Home and I'm The Greatest collided soon after the start.  Four Aces and Aston Clurey collided approaching the 250m mark.  Riccarton Weaver, Four Aces, Perfect Crippa and I'm The Greatest collided at the 250m mark checking Four Aces which lost ground as a result.  Just The Marjen checked off Aston Clurey approaching the 50m mark.

Four Aces underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Eagle Jet - the winner of the event.

An out of competition sample was taken from Aston Champagne on 7/6/2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

A sample was taken from Reggae Mikado upon arrival at the course.

Mallee Swan was slow to begin.

Reggae Mikado and Hot Diesel collided soon after the start.  McIvor Ernie checked off Unsolved Mystery at the 300m mark.  McIvor Ernie crossed to the outside at the 300m mark and raced wide for the remainder of the event.  Hot Diesel, Zarate and No Talking collided several times at the 250m mark.  Aston Champagne, Unsolved Mystery and Mallee Swan collided at the 250m mark severely checking Unsolved Mystery which stumbled as a result.  Hot Diesel and No Talking collided at the 150m mark.  Mallee Swan and No Talking collided at the 100m mark checking Hot Diesel.  Hot Diesel checked off Mallee Swan approaching the 50m mark.

Make A Pat and McIvor Stretch were slow to begin.

McIvor Bluey, Indian Calling and Make A Pat collided approaching the 300m mark.  Make A Pat checked off Indian Calling at the 300m mark.  Bruree Town, Hello George and McIvor Bluey collided approaching the 250m mark.  McIvor Bluey and Bruree Town collided at the 200m mark.  Indian Calling and McIvor Bluey collided at the 200m mark.  Perfect Flossy checked off Gleeson approaching the 150m mark.  McIvor Bluey and McIvor Stretch collided approaching the 150m mark.  McIvor Bluey and Perfect Flossy collided approaching the winning post.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 1 minute due to holding for the completion of a Devonport gallops race.

Giant's Flash was slow to begin.

Visualiser was slow to begin.

Phantom Jupiter and Perfect Treasure collided soon after the start.  Visualiser, Raw Gossip, Also Arandt, Phantom Jupiter, Perfect Treasure, Thursday Thunder and Another Vendetta collided approaching the 300m mark checking Another Vendetta, severely checking Also Arandt.  Perfect Treasure and Thursday Thunder collided at the 300m mark.  Another Vendetta crossed to the outside at the 200m mark checking Thursday Thunder.  Also Arandt and Perfect Treasure collided approaching the 100m mark.  Perfect Treasure checked off Phantom Jupiter at the 100m mark checking Also Arandt.

Kraken Attila - Late scratching at 7:44am when Ms. H. Eyles reported the greyhound to have a leg injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Cosmic Ox was slow to begin.

SUPPLEMENTAY REPORT:

On Sunday, 13 June 2021, Stewards opened and adjourned an Inquiry involving licensed Catcher, Ms. Mandy Scott, into a breach of GAR 44 for filming in the catching pen area following the running of Event 8. On Tuesday, 15 June 2021 GRV Stewards concluded the Inquiry via telephone link with Ms. Scott and after assessing the evidence before them, reminded Ms. Scott of her responsibilities in relation to the use of a mobile telephone on course and the rules relating to GAR 44.
