All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing, starting, and catching greyhounds. 

Dundee Cotton, McIvor Jack and Teddy Logan collided soon after the start checking Teddy Logan and McIvor Jack. Aston Shotgun and Persuasive collided approaching the home turn checking Aston Shotgun which collided with Claretown Jimmy. Call Me Beau, McIvor Jack and Teddy Logan collided approaching the home turn checking Teddy Logan. Teddy Logan raced wide in the home straight.

Beretta Girl was quick to begin. McIvor Rusty, Call Me Buddy and Aston Kaycee collided soon after the start checking Aston Kaycee and Call Me Buddy. Call Me Buddy galloped on the heels of Aston Kaycee on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Beretta Girl and Palmer River collided entering the home straight.

Endless Ability, Cosmetic Rose and Bop Bop collided soon after the start checking Bop Bop. Bop Bop, Extremely, Endless Ability and She Has Style collided on the first turn checking Endless Ability. Claretown Buster and Bad Bailey collided approaching the home turn. McIvor Jill, Endless ABility and Mad Bailey collided on the home turn checking Mad Bailey and Endless Ability.

McIvor Specks and Dundee Trigger were slow to begin. Big Fonzie, Whiskey Road, Mepunga Legend and Aston Virago collided approaching the first turn checking Mepunga Legend. Mepunga Legend galloped on the heels of Aston Virago on the first turn checking Mepunga Legend and severely checking Aston Virago. Adele's Entity and Whiskey Road collided on the first turn. Adele's Entity and Blackpool Bart collided approaching the home turn severely checking Adele's Entity which collided with Aston Virago. McIvor Specks and Dundee Triger collided entering the home straight.

Blackpool Bart underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer's request and was found to have a laceration to the left hind second toe. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Zylon Bale, Roxy Tequila, Brizo, Aston Pride and Kraken Pearler collided on the first turn causing the muzzle of Brizo to momentarily to become caught in the race rug of Zylon Bale, checking Zylon Bale and severely checking Brizo. Aston Pride and Lala Juniper collided approaching the second turn.

Dash Of Reyne was quick to begin. Prince Cody and Aston Select collided on the first turn checking Aston Select and Harlequin Rose. Auspicious Queen, Prince Cody and Hill Top Jack collided entering the back straight. Auspicious Queen galloped on the heels of Dash Of Reyne approaching the winning post.

Maasai Mara and All Over Max collided on the first turn. Maasai Mara, Oliver Bale and All Over Max collided approaching the home turn checking Maasai Mara and All Over Max.

Polly's Yohanna and Shadow Mist collided soon after the start. Mepunga Holly and Up The Amount collided on the first turn checking Mepunga Holly which collided with Polly's Yohanna. Up The Amount and Shadow Mist collided approaching the home turn. Polly's Yohanna and Shadow Mist collided entering the home straight. Mepunga Holly and All Inn Dungee collided in the home straight checking All Inn Dungee.

Mr. Harrison Goss failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Mepunga Ruby for racing.  A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 46 (2).

Post-race samples were taken from Mepunga Ruby (1st) and Bounce Back (2nd).

Lala Hibiscus, Shaka Big Tonks and Island Chief collided soon after the start checking Shaka Big Tonks. Ishmy Ruby, Lala Hibiscus and Island Chief collided approaching the first turn checking Island Chief. Shaka Big Tonks and He Has Charm collided on the first turn checking Shaka Big Tonks. Island Chief raced wide in the home straight.

Ishmy Ruby underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind 5th toe. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Riccarton Weaver and Mepunga Val collided approaching the first turn. Roxy Rum Pumper, McIvor Bluey and Blackpool Storm collided on the first turn checking McIvor Bluey. Riccarton Weaver raced wide in the home straight.

Meehan Ziggy was quick to begin. Century Rocks and Desmonde collided on the first turn severley checking Century Rocks. Desmonde and Running The Wind collided approaching the home turn. Desmonde galloped on the heels of Meehan Ziggy approaching the home turn checking Meehan Ziggy which collided with Century Rocks. Daph's Wally and Running The Wind collided in the home straight. Century Rocks lost ground entering the home straight.

Century Rocks underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Lektra Loopy and Rockstar Haynes collided soon after the start checking Rockstar Haynes. Lektra Loopy and Blackpool Alfie collided approaching the first turn severely checking Blackpool Alfie. Aerolithology, Lektra Loopy and Jimmy Cheesecake collided on the first turn checking Lektra Loopy and Jimmy Cheesecake. Jimmy Cheesecake and Filorga Bale collided approaching the home turn severely checking Jimmy Cheesecake. Blackpool Alfie and Filorga Bale collided on the home turn.
