A pre-race sample was taken from Freakish Talent.
Gintoki Bale was slow to begin. Frank's Girl crossed in soon after the start checking Mirror Illusion and Gintoki Bale. Freakish Talent and Frank's Girl collided approaching the first turn. Frank's Girl and Flying Hurricane collided on the first turn. Freakish Talent and Frank's Girl collided approaching the second turn checking Freakish Talent, Balbina Bale and Mirror Illusion. Shall She Charm checked off Gemma Blue entering the back straight. Shall She Charm and Gemma Blue collided approaching the home turn.
Shall She Charm underwent a post-race veterinary examination following a fall after the winning post and was found to have sustained a dislocated toe, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Representative, Mr D. Crawford, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. After hearing evidence from Mr Crawford, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.
