Steward's Report
G'Day Muscles, Brindle Fire, Red Taltarni, Grace Cabang and Quicker Than Joe collided soon after the start checking Brindle Fire and Quicker Then Joe. G'Day Muscles galloped on Red Taltarni on the first turn checking Brindle Fire and Red Taltarni. Grace Cabang turned it's head inwards entering the home straight. Grace Cabang and Regal Missile collided approaching the winning post.
Grace Cabang underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions and bruising to the right fore limb. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Gregory Berry regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Grace Cabang was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Berry pleaded guilty to the charge, Grace Cabang was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
The numbers were momentarily delayed being displayed on the semaphore board.
