Steward's Report
Big Tango – Late scratching at 9:33 am due to non–arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr Tony Cortese informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr Cortese that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.
Stunning One was quick to begin.
Stunning One crossed in soon after the start. Funny Enough crossed out soon after the start. Call Me Jade and Blazin' Fury collided at the 200m mark.
Due to a technical malfunction with the timing sensor, the semaphore board briefly displayed the incorrect win time for this event as 15:79; the time was amended to the official win time of 17:08 as the placings were semaphored.
