Steward's Report
Colossal Fire – Late scratching at 8:41 am due to non–arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr Ken McCann informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr McCann that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.
Blackzin Prince was slow to begin.
Far Out Frankie checked off Blair's Tulip approaching the 200m mark, checking Blackzin Prince.

Due to a technical malfunction with the timing sensor, the semaphore board briefly displayed the incorrect win time for this event as 19:25; the time was amended to the official win time of 19:64 as the placings were semaphored.
