Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Fab Six.
Shady Talks and Royal Arrival were slow to begin.
Midnight Breeze and Fab Six collided soon after the start. Shady Talks, Riccarton Weaver and Midnight Breeze collided approaching the 200m mark. Riccarton Weaver and Midnight Breeze collided at the 200m mark. Midnight Breeze checked off Shady Talks at the 150m mark causing Midnight Breeze to lose ground. Shady Talks and Riccarton Weaver collided at the 50m mark.
Midnight Breeze underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right back muscle and the right hamstrings. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
