Steward's Report
Aston Roxy was quick to begin and crossed to the running rail soon after he start. Rim Of Fire and Librarian collided on the first turn. Ink Spot and Always Cousins collided approaching the home turn checking Always Cousins. Buster's Choice and Aston Roxy collided on the home turn checking Buster's Choice. Buster's Choice crossed to the outside in the home straight. Ink Spot raced wide in the home straight.
Buster's Choice underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Scott McKenzie regarding the racing manners of Buster's Choice in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr. McKenzie, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
