Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Solar Charge upon arrival at the course.
Solar Charge and Hagrid Grange collided approaching the first turn. Loco Luca and Full Of Weetbix collided approaching the first turn. Midnight Bling, Solar Charge and Hagrid Grange collided on the first turn checking Solar Charge. Kraken Glows eased approaching the home turn. Midnight Bling and Hagrid Grange collided approaching the home turn. Filorga Bale and Full Of Weetbix collided on the home turn. Daisy Hill Lad and Full Of Weetbix collided in the home straight.
Kraken Glows underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left groin injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr. Thomas Wark regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Kraken Glows was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Wark pleaded guilty to the charge, Kraken Glows was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Solar Charge underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left fore toe injury and right thigh injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
