Koblenz was quick to begin. El Cazador was slow to begin. Invictus Rising checked off Well Grounded soon after the start. Extra Speed and Get Real collided approaching the first turn checking Get Real. Get Real and Kraken Sue collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Colden Dayto and Invictus Rising collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Get Real and El Cazador collided on the first turn.
Colden Dayto was vetted following the event at the representative's request. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left toe injury and a right back muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Koblenz, the winner of the event.
