Talbingo Bale was quick to begin. Jye's Jet and Aston Falcon were slow to begin. Circumstance – Late scratching at 5.59pm when Trainer Mr. Mark Delbridge reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Koblenz was quick to begin.  El Cazador was slow to begin.  Invictus Rising checked off Well Grounded soon after the start.  Extra Speed and Get Real collided approaching the first turn checking Get Real.  Get Real and Kraken Sue collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Colden Dayto and Invictus Rising collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Get Real and El Cazador collided on the first turn.

Colden Dayto was vetted following the event at the representative's request.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left toe injury and a right back muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Untapped and Twin Pick were slow to begin.  Radek Bale, Untapped and Galloping Occy collided soon after the start, severely checking Galloping Occy and Untapped.  Untapped fell as a result.  Drumroll Please and Aston Champagne collided on the first turn.  Drumroll Please and Radek Bale collided on the second turn.  Radek Bale checked off Drumroll Please approaching the third turn.

Untapped was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right front leg, no stand down period was imposed.

Barooga Dodge stumbled at box rise and lost ground (4 lengths).  Sid Core, Javier Bale and Sharky Shark collided on the first turn checking Sid Core and Sharky Shark.  Barooga Dodge and Sharky Shark collided on the third turn checking Barooga Dodge.
