A pre-race sample was taken from Studley.
Just Admit It and Aston Pinot collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Spring Bud, Just Admit It and Aston Pinot collided on the first turn checking Spring Bud and Just Admit It and causing Spring Bud to contact the running rail. Ordelia Bale checked off Roxy Smirnoff approaching the home turn. Greysynd Shock crossed to the inside approaching the home turn checking Roxy Smirnoff abd Ordelia Bale.
Spring Bud underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left hamstrings, right triangle and a laceration to the face. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Ordelia Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right thight muscle and right hind toe. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
