Barunga Bullet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Mr Brent Merton declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted. Stewards spoke to Mr Merton, the representative of Barunga Bullet regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 100m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A (1) Barunga Bullet was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Merton pleaded guilty to the charge, was found guilty and suspended for 3 months (all tracks) and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Paetta Bale - New declared weight of 25.0kgs, last raced at 26.4kgs.

Kris Le Cashew and Frainy's Well were slow to begin.

Frainy's Well crossed to the outside soon after the start. Retro Reece and Tregunna collided soon after the start. Victory Mia and Jonah Alcatraz collided several times from soon after the start to the 200m mark. Kris Le Cashew crossed to the outside approaching the 200m mark and collided with Paetta Bale. Retro Reece, Victory Mia and Jonah Alcatraz collided approaching the 150m mark checking all three greyhounds. Victory Mia and Jonah Alcatraz collided approaching the winning post.

A post-race sample was taken from Victory Mia - the winner of the event.

Okawa Eye Candy, Further Dreamer and Solar System collided soon after the start. Okawa Eye Candy checked off Diamond Socks approaching the 200m mark. Okawa Eye Candy, Springvale Misty and Inter Rose collided approaching the 150m mark checking Springvale Misty and Inter Rose.

Coco Lily was slow to begin.

One Double Beat and Lea Arandt collided at the 300m mark. Maximum Capers checked off Meat Murphy approaching the 250m mark checking One Double Beat and Lea Arandt. Maximum Capers and Meat Murphy collided approaching the 200m mark. Meat Murphy and One Double Beat collided at the 150m mark. Lea Arandt crossed in at the 100m mark checking Meat Murphy and One Double Beat. One Double Beat turned its head outwards at the 50m mark and collided with Meat Murphy, severely checking Meat Murphy.

One Double Beat underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left chest muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Ronald Dunne, the trainer of One Double Beat regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 50m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1) One Double Beat was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Dunne pleaded guilty to the charge, One Double Beat was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A sample was taken from Pretty Boy Pat upon arrival at the course.

Pretty Boy Pat and G'day Muscles collided soon after the start. Pretty Boy Pat crossed to the outside approaching the 150m mark and raced wide for the remainder of the event.

Grumpy Al underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind toe. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Golden Years upon arrival at the course.

Kid Malawi and Boes Reward collided soon after the start. Boes Reward and Golden Years collided at the 300m mark checking Golden Years. Challis Sprite and Boes Reward collided at the 200m mark. Kid Malawi and Speedy Spyro collided at the 100m mark.

Bluey McGee crossed to the outside soon after the start and raced wide to the 200m mark. American Star crossed to the outside at the 100m mark and raced wide for the remainder of the event.

She's A Charm crossed to the outside at the 250m mark causing Lily Rose Jazz to race wide from the 250m mark to the 50m mark. Aston Kenji checked off Challis Magic approaching the winning post.
