All persons attending the venue today carried face-masks, observed social distance requirements and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.

Road To Cairns and Johnny Fatboy were slow to begin. Oseye Bale marred the running of Nine Nine entering the home straight and in the home straight.

Oseye Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-vetted at the trainer's request following race 4. Oseye Bale was found to have injuries to the left wrist, left monkey muscle, right back muscle and right groin. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Jordan McQuillen, the representative of Oseye Bale regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Oseye Bale was charged with marring.  Mr. McQuillen pleaded guilty to the charge, Oseye Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Rush Out and Lala Hibiscus were quick to begin. Great Question and Ned's Reward collided soon after the start. Balbina Bale and Rebel Runner collided approaching the first turn. Aston Dijon and Lala Hibiscus collided approaching the home turn.

A sample was taken from Blazing Nenna upon arrival at the course.

Shinjuku and Mepunga Knight collided soon after the start. Groundbreaking, Shinjuku and Blazing Nenna collided approaching the first turn. Astro Boy and Interrogate collided approaching the home turn. Astro Boy raced wide in the home straight. Cruisy's Special, Mepunga Knight and Blazing Nenna collided approaching the winning post.

A post-race sample was taken from Gunai Outlaw - the winner of the event.

Happy Hannah – New declared weight of 29.9 kg, last raced at 31.7 kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Happy Hannah.

Happy Hannah underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race. 

Resurgence, Happy Ruby, Happy Hannah and Oamaru Bale collided on the first turn checking Resurgence. Happy Hannah and Resurgence collided entering the back straight. Zulu Eyes and Lala Grapefruit collided approaching the winning post severely checking Zulu Eyes which collided with Happy Ruby.

Zulu Eyes underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a small wound to the left elbow and suffered mild thumps. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Zulu Eyes became dislodged during the running of the event.

A post-race sample was taken from Jedda Milne - the winner of the event.

Pie Night, Fugacious, Cornhill Tiger and Cool Limit collided on the first turn checking Cool Limit and Pie Night. Cornhill Tiger and Fugacious collided approaching the second turn checking Fugacious. 

A sample was taken from Cornhill Rebel upon arrival at the course.

A pre-race sample was taken from Ultimate Avenger.

My Dewana Penny, Cornhill Rebel and Pheme collided on the first turn checking Pheme. Daph's Farrah and Harlequin Rose collided on the second turn checking Harlequin Rose.

Pirate Lee, Keiki, Go Twenty Two and Padrino Rocks collided on the first turn. Indian Shadow and Gypsy Cinnamon collided approaching the second turn checking Gypsy Cinnamon. Indian Shadow underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen. Indian Shadow sustained a laceration to the right wrist and a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Robin's Choice was quick to begin. Christo Bale and Garage Sale collided on the first turn checking Garage Sale. Darra Onyx and Graphic Design collided approaching the second tun and again on the second turn checking Darra Onyx which collided with Garage Sale.

A sample was taken from Irene's A Star upon arrival at the course.

Mr. Jason Thompson was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Zambora Lou pursuant to GAR 33.

All Over Max – Late scratching at 11:35 under GAR 37(4) on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian after the greyhound was found to be infested with fleas.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance stating the condition no longer exists before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Kiss Your Lips, Zambora Lou and Lektra Bear collided approaching the first turn checking Lekra Bear. Bound To Succeed, Aston Paquin and Kiss Your Lips collided on the first turn severely checking Bound To Succeed and Aston Paquin. Bound To Succeed and Lektra Bear collided approaching the home turn.

Gold Driller stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin (4L). Tan Star and Numinous collided approaching the first turn. Lektra Jena and Tan Star collided on the first turn checking Tan Star which collided with Kraken Storm. Lektra Jena and Numinous collided approaching the home turn checking Lektra Jena.

Numinous underwent a veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind 3rd toe. No stand down period was imposed.

Baby Talk  – Late scratching at 7:26am when Trainer Ms Jessica Shill reported the greyhound to have lameness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dim Sim and Orange Justice collided on the first turn checking Orange Justice. Orange Justice and Fab Nine collided approaching the home turn. Maggie Pie and Dim Sim collided approaching the home turn checking Dim Sim. Burn Your Name galloped on the heels of Blue Zenia in the home straight.
