Steward's Report
All persons attending the venue today carried face-masks, observed social distance requirements and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.
Road To Cairns and Johnny Fatboy were slow to begin. Oseye Bale marred the running of Nine Nine entering the home straight and in the home straight.
Oseye Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-vetted at the trainer's request following race 4. Oseye Bale was found to have injuries to the left wrist, left monkey muscle, right back muscle and right groin. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Jordan McQuillen, the representative of Oseye Bale regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Oseye Bale was charged with marring. Mr. McQuillen pleaded guilty to the charge, Oseye Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Miss Daisy Hill - the winner of the event.
