Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade Steward, Miss Paris Toner did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Love Not War was slow to begin.
Sevilla checked off Blazing Brothers approaching the first turn. Milly's Last and Aston Dynasty collided on the first turn checking Aston Dynasty, Yohan Bale, Love Not War, Sevilla, severely checking Peter Coin, Milly's Last and Mac Rooster, Milly's Last and Peter Coin fell as a result. Blazing Brothers and Sevilla collided on the home turn. Yohan Bale and Aston Dynasty collided in the home straight.
Milly's Last underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the left hind stifle and metatarsal. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Peter Coin underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left wrist. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Following this event the lure malfuctioned and the meeting was delayed. Track maintenance staff worked on the issues and could not rectify the problem. Stewards declared that it was unsafe to continue racing and the race meeting was abandoned at 19:58.
GRV-31/3/2021 CRN ABANDONED tonight due to issues with the lure. Prize money will be divided between runners.
All weights are void for greyhounds that did not compete.
