Ms. Lucky Leaves and Especially Eager collided soon after the start. Especially Eager and Bruree Man collided several times from the 250m mark to the 200m mark checking Into The River and Big Vader. Ms. Lucky Leaves and Hot Tzarina collided at the 50m mark.
Ms. Lucky Leaves underwent a post-race veterinary examination following a fall in the catching pen - no apparent injury was reported.
