Invictus Murray and Don't Argue Love were quick to begin.
Invictus Murray and Princess Lace collided on the first turn checking Princess Lace, Merlot and King Gristle. Travelling Sands lost ground approaching the third turn. Travelling Sands, Invictus Murray and Merlot collided on the third turn checking all three greyhounds. Princess Lace tired over the concluding stages.
Travelling Sands underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left calf muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
